[Objective]
The Phone is a touchscreen phone without Internet, designed to give 8-12 year olds autonomy — safely. Our goal was to make a phone — that at first glance feels restrictive — actually feel desirable. The client also wanted a reusable box to deliver the phone along with goodies.

[Solution]
Rather than highlight what The Phone prevents (addiction, cyberbullying...) we put what the phone offers (more outdoor time, family conversations...) directly on the packaging. We also designed a time capsule in which kids can write and store their memories.
